The campus and its surroundings offer a unique combined living and study experience. Short distances within the campus and to the city center of Haarlem complete a promising ecosystem that offers a family feeling, as well as a meeting point for education and research, knowledge institutions, companies, and the city.

Students might be eligible for rent benefit (huurtoeslag) from the Dutch government. Pet's are not allowed in the campus dorm rooms.
Living on campus
Our Campus in Haarlem is a place to study, work and live for students and sometimes lecturers.
Our newly renovated studios house our students and visitors from all over the world since February 2023, turning our unique campus in the heart of Haarlem into a lively and dynamic cross-meeting place.
The proximity to the city centre and the green lung around the building as well as a start-up incubator, a film theatre, and the Cupola Café inside the building, contribute to a pleasant place to live and study.
Application Procedure
The be able to book a room you first need to have accepted our offer to enroll at our university.
After you have accepted our offer to enroll at SRH Haarlem University of Applied Science we will contact you with the details on how to book your room.
In case you would like to use our offer of living on campus, please prepare to pay the referral fee of €500 euro to SRH Haarlem Campus. After payment of the fee you are officially listed for a room.
Once you have selected a room you will receive the first invoice from the landlord consisting of:
- a one-off contract and administration fee of €215 (including kitchen and bedlinen package)
- the pro-rata rent from the start of your contract until the end of that calendar month
- the rent for the last two full rental months
Application Deadline
If you would like to register for housing with us, please make sure to do it before these deadlines:
September intake:
- latest possibility is by 15th of July.
February intake:
- latest possibility is by 15th of December.
Housing Allowance
Whether you are European or not sometimes the Dutch government contributes to your study success by giving you the possibility to apply for certain allowances. Check here to see if you qualify for housing allowance and contact us if you need help figuring out how to apply for it.
Make new friends and become a member of a vibrant community
Even when you are far from home, we believe that it is important for you to feel at home.
Living together with your classmates provides an excellent opportunity to get to know each other and to build deep friendships.
As studying at Haarlem Campus requires a lot of group-work, living together also makes it easier to plan these group meetings and generally enhances the overall academic community.
Additionally, living on campus has the benefit of allowing you to immediately focus on your studies as your housing is already arranged for you.
